shabby chic mode
Perhaps it was Valentine's Day, perhaps just my need for soft, gentle surroundings at this particular time, but I've been playing in the shabby chic materials! I want to share the three matchboxes I received in a swap recently, via the Speckled Egg, as well as some things I've done with some of the contents of those sweet little boxes. The blue green heart seems to need an image on the tag.....Now I'd best get started on my altered book!
I too am lovin' the shabby lately. Perhaps it is the softness of spring coming that has made me gravitate toward the softer worn look. Your pieces are very sweet.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! My purpose is to share my passion for and knowledge about faux finishing with you. Now and then I might just add a little personal information and pieces of my art!

An elementary school teacher by day, I am also an experienced faux finisher and animal sitter. I relax by dabbling in collage, mixed media, photography, sewing, quilting, and various paper arts.
